The high school experience may look different today, with the dominance of social media and rise of virtual classes, but its still a highly formative time for young people. These four years can be a crucible of challenges, an exercise in academic excellence, a social journey of self-discovery – or all of the above. Whether you’re sad to see it go or are relieved its over, making it through is an accomplishment in and of itself.

If you’re interested in going beyond the posed photos and capturing something a little more meaningful, consider sitting down with your new grad and having a look-back conversation about their time in high school. Take a break from the college and job conversations to reflect on what they have accomplished and what it meant to them. We’ve pulled together a set of questions that will help you both mark the occasion and create a unique artifact that you’ll look back on in the years to come with fond memories.
